Treatment after treatment of large cavities (crown) C3
After treatment of the root (nerve) of the tooth, the original part (dental substance) of the tooth head is often reduced.
Therefore, if the tooth quality is low, the tooth is reinforced with a metal core (metal base). Then cover it with a crown.

Procedure for repairing large caries marks → Crown manufacturing process at a dental laboratory

1. Cleaning the tooth cavity and collecting tooth patterns
After root treatment, disinfect the inside of the hole, take a tooth mold with dental material, and temporarily seal it with dental clay or plastic product.

2. Creating a metal core (metal base)
Create a metal base according to the tooth pattern taken (at the dental laboratory).

3. Adhesion of metal core
Adhere the metal core to the root of the tooth with a dental adhesive.
As a preliminary preparation, we will remove the temporary sealing material, clean the tooth cavity, and prevent moisture (to prevent saliva from entering).
Before applying the adhesive, try it out and check the compatibility between the cavity and the core.

4. Tooth pattern collection of abutment teeth
Have the patient bite for about 3-5 minutes to prevent lifting.
After curing to some extent, remove excess adhesive with a dental instrument. About 10 minutes after gluing, when the glue is completely cured, shape the base with a cutting tool and take a tooth mold with dental material.

5. Creating a crown
Create a crown according to the tooth pattern taken (at the dental laboratory). Disinfect the created crown in advance.

6. Adhesion of crown
Glue the crown to the root of the tooth with a dental adhesive.
Before applying the adhesive, try it out and check the compatibility between the abutment and the crown.
Have the patient bite for about 3-5 minutes to prevent lifting.

7. Removal of excess adhesive
After curing to some extent, remove excess adhesive with a dental instrument.

8. Adjustment of occlusion
When the adhesive is completely hardened, adjust the occlusion and polish the adjusted surface to complete.

Insurance points and fee calculation for the above treatments
The score of the metal core and crown differs between the anterior teeth (including canines) that are covered with plastic, and the premolars and molars that are all made of metal.
